The Three "Friends" That Can Cause Separation From God: Strife, Envy and Pride

The three ‘friends’ that can cause separation from God and your friends and your family are strife, envy and pride.
They can cause destruction in our lives and bring about spiritual death.
The seeds planted in the soil of our hearts will either produce fruit that brings glory to our King or separation by the sins of these ‘friends’.
Forgiveness is a great fertilizer!
When we harbor unforgiveness we open the door for Satan to gain control of our emotions and attitudes.
Unforgiveness will unlock the door for more ‘friends’ to inhabit our heart, which will produce hardness within us.   The results will be frustration, disobedience, rebellion, anger, bitterness, hatred, self pity, strife, jealousy, envy…just to name a few.
We each hold the key to unlock the door of our hearts for Jesus to reign.  It is our choice.
Sometimes when we battle our emotions we should step back and ask ourselves why we don’t want to forgive or why are we envious?
Is our pride more important than forgiving others?
The big question; is your pride more important to you than Jesus?    If no, then we do we have such an issue with it?
Is your pride standing between you and your destiny?
Who are so angry at that you are willing to miss heaven?
Pride is a deadly poison!  It is Satan’s poison that he uses to kill and destroy our spiritual life.
“Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me.”  Matt. 16:24 NLT

Jesus is the antidote!  If we truly walk in love we will forgive, step out of selfishness, anger, jealousy and etc.   When we truly have a heart change it is evident in our expressions, our words, our actions and our life.
“Whenever, though, they turn to face God as Moses did, God removes the veil and there they are—face-to-face!  They suddenly recognize that God is a living, personal presence, not a piece of chiseled stone.
And when God is personally present, a living Spirit, that old, constricting legislation is recognized as obsolete.  We're free of it!  All of us!  Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face.  And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.”      2 Cor. 3:16-18  The Message Bible
